Room Bookings
Campus Saint-Jean is pleased to offer certain rooms to the public.

Renters are responsible for bringing the equipment they need for their event and for carrying out their activities in accordance with the instructions and policies set out in the rental contract. Campus Saint-Jean is not responsible for the set-up or organization of events resulting from room reservations.
Please inform us in advance if you have any special needs. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests where possible.
Reservation Form for External Groups
Reservation Form for Internal University Bookings Only
For official University of Alberta and Campus Saint-Jean activities only.
Notice: Important changes
In view of inflation and the growing needs of Campus Saint-Jean, there have been significant changes to the policies, rental fees, and operations of the room reservation system for external groups at Campus Saint-Jean.
These adjustments help to maintain a high standard of space and operations at the university so that we can also continue to offer our spaces to external groups. We are working hard on these improvements, which aim to provide an even better experience at Campus Saint-Jean.
We thank you for your understanding and look forward to welcoming you in the near future.
1. Reservation requests only accepted through the new booking form
All booking requests must now be made using the relevant form.
2. Rental fees and time slots
Rooms are available in pre-defined time slots, in blocks of 4 hours. It is possible to book more than one block of time. In the event of several consecutive blocks being booked, the cost of the consecutive blocks will be reduced to 50% of the normal rental fee.
Pre-defined time slots:
- 7 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 3:30 pm
- 4 pm – 8 pm
What are the time slots for?
The time slots have been introduced in order to (1) include the time needed for the set-up and clean-up required for bookings made by groups from outside the CSJ, (2) regulate and maintain the level of security in our buildings, and (3) make a reasonable return on the rental of our spaces.
3. Prioritization of academic programming
Reservation requests are only open to the public beginning in the previous academic session in order to give priority to academic planning and the official activities of Campus Saint-Jean groups.
For example, reservation requests for the fall session (September–December) are only open starting in the previous the summer session (July–August).
4. Online Payment
All room reservation payments are made through Shopify.
